Chris Sweedy
Director
After his graduation from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics (Hons) in 2010, Chris pursued a career in the commercial industry in cost-consultancy and quantity surveyance before turning his attention toward residential development.
Noticing a gap in the market for full-service custom home builders in South Australia, Chris founded Sweedy Homes in 2012 and leads a talented team who are elevating the brand with every beguiling project.
Chris is perpetually fascinated by the logistical aspect of project management. He implements his scrupulous eye for coordination, planning and attention to detail throughout each stage of construction, developing an impressive network of talented craftsmen and suppliers along the way.
Sam Sweedy
Director
Sam was born with an dynamic entrepreneurial spirit and founded multiple innovative hospitality concepts prior to formally joining his brother Chris at Sweedy Homes. In over a decade leading design, branding and construction projects across multiple food and beverage locations, Sam has refined his vision and gained crucial insight into consumer behaviour along the way.
Experience is always central to Sam’s approach, from the building process to his clients’ functionality in their new home. Custom home projects demand trust and open communication between client and builder, and Sam perpetually exceeds expectations with uncompromised service and attention to detail.
